i set up my server and installed php/mysql/phpbb itsd all working perfect except when people goto my message board and try to register they fill out the registration info and clk submit and then a error page comnes up ...
Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: 500 #5.5.1 command not recognized

i filled out the info in the configuration file with my smtp address and login info |

Is SMTP auth required on your server?

thanks for replying it is appreciated i had to remove the user name and pass from my email config in the board then it started working just fine
i found out error line 125 means it dont need a username andm pass and by my putting one in was confusing it
or atleast thats the best i understood from what i was told |
