Hi
Thanks to aprelium-beta comments on a previous post I've finally got Abyss up and running in FreeBSD 4.10.
Only problem is that I can't use port 80 due to not logging in as root all the time for security reasons. In FreeBSD you need to be root to use ports 1 to 1024.
Due to this abyss defaults to port 8000. Any way to use port 80 without being root? Someone mentioned that in Apache theres a way that it uses root to start up, but then gives you back your standard access.
Thanks.
