Hi
Just finished setting up my P2 266 FreeBSD server with FreeBSD and gnome. I plan to use it as a file server, FTP server and web server for my home page. I've read about use the FreeBSD version and have a few questions. (Only used the Windows one before)
1) According to the install instructions I have to type in "execute: ./abyssws" to get the web server running. Do I have to do this everytime I log into the computer? I do intend running 24/7 but like all things I will have to turn it off at some point. If so can I change a file or something so the computer starts it automatic.
2) Is there a pre-made hmtl template I could use to run a web server that works like a FTP server, allowing passworded downloads and uploads? I have worked out downloads in the windows version but not uploads. If so I can dump the FTP server.

In this case, it's better to run Abyss as a system daemon (or system service.) Please read http://www.aprelium.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1918 to know how to do so (intructions are for Linux in this message but apply also to FreeBSD.)

This could be easily done by installing an upload script: http://www.aprelium.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4433 .
