|
|
I am running the Abyss X1 (64 bit) web server v 2.12.1 on 64 bit Windows 7 platform. I am trying to use XSSI calls within the index.htlm file.
In the index.html file, I have a call to an SSI file as follows:
<div class="wrapper row1">
<header id="header" class="hoc clear">
<!-- ################################### -->
<!-- XSSI below -->
<!-- #include file="navheader.shtml" -->
The navheader.shtml file is in the same directory as the index.html file.
XSSI is enabled on the web server.
However, when the index file is called up, the XSSI file does not get called up. Any idea of what I'm missing?
I tried these same files on Apple OSX 10.5 (Power PC G5) with the Abyss X1 2.12 web server with the same result.

The file is a .html and this extension is not handled by default in Abyss Web Server by the SSI engine.
All you have to do is to add .html to to the list of file name extensions handled by SSI:
* Open Abyss Web Server console
2* Press on the "Configure" button in the "Hosts" table
3* Select the icon "XSSI Parameters"
4* Press "Add" in the table "Associated Extensions"
5* In "Extension" enter:
html
7* Press "OK"
8* Press "OK"
9* Now press "Restart" _________________ Follow @abyssws on Twitter
