how many hits does your site get? I don't want ads on my pages, but I might consider putting it at the bottom of my links page or something. I doubt most visitors to my site would click it, and I'm getting less than 1500 unique hits per month.

I get over 1000 hits per month.

My server has a T2 connection, and I have the Dell PowerEdge server, with over 160Gb of space.

So you're saying, in 2 and a half weeks, with only 1000 hits per month, you've made over $150 in click throughs ? If you average out the number of hits per day, you'd get about 580 in 2 and a half weeks... You're telling me from 580 unique hits you got enough click throughs to earn $150 ? If every single visitor clicked one ad that'd still make the payment about $0.25 per add which is pretty high. Hmm.

To be honest, of all the types of advertising, I do quite like Google ads. If like is the right word. I know some people need to make money to keep their site up and respect that if I use the site regularly, and I'd rather see Google ads on the site than any other type. At least they make a half decent attempt to actually be relevant to what you're looking at rather than getting a BUY CHEAP VI@GRA! popup in the middle of your shopping session, and provide a good source of amusement when they completely fail. They don't take up the entire top of the screen like a banner ad or annoy you like a popup - you can pretty much just mentally filter them out without even noticing they're there...

Okay, I already have a google search on my page - but its in my format, in a drop down along with other search engines. However, it is the default.

I may email google and ask them if this would be permitted in their search scheme - if not, oh well. Their existing search layout is too big for me.

This AdSense program is not all that good , I had an account with them
and because I clicked on my own ads , they suspended my account and
no longer allowed me to participate in their advertising program. :(
