|
|
I installed Abyss and placed my website in htdocs file I configured the firewall (sygate) to allow traffic on port 80 then I configured my dlink router to allow the computer to be an http server on port 80 then I put the computer in the dmz zone just to be sure. but I just dont seem to be able to access the server the address I use is my ip:port . I tried to find any info about my problem but was unable to (forgive me if I missed it) I am new at this so your patience is appreciated.

Your ISP most likely blocks port 80.
Change the Abyss port to 81, and change all of the other ports you configured to 81 also. Then try it.
Also, D-Link routers do not allow loopback. Have someone else (or Proxify.com) check your website. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

Thank you, I had tried changing the port but I did not know about dlink not letting you loop back, as soon as I tried going through the annonymous proxy it worked. Again Thank you !!!!!!!
