Abyss Web Server ACME implementation is compatible with ACME version 2 only.
When designing ACME support, we skipped v1 as it was going to be made obsolete and worked on v2 which has more features (the most important: wildcard domain support.)
We were aware of Buypass at that time but they were only offering ACME v1.
Today, we checked again and it seems that they are only offering ACME v2 in test mode only: https://www.buypass.com/ssl/resources/acme-free-ssl#what-is-acme?-get-started-production-and-test-endpoints . So we're not sure if these test certificates are useful if delivered by their test authority.
Anyway, when they'll roll ACME v2 in production, all you have to do is to create a new ACME account and enter their v2 directory URL instead of Let's Encrypt default directory URL. _________________ Follow @abyssws on Twitter

I've been looking at Buypass also. Can't wait until they bring ACME v2 into production. Six month certs are way more exciting than three! Whenever you happen to notice they do, please reply so everyone will know it's available. Thanks!
PS And I just noticed my forum post count is higher than admin's :) _________________ Stephen

6 months is always better that 3. Hopefully they won't have issues with the number of users once they will operate at a wider scale.
We'll try to contact them to be kept up to date about the move of their ACMEv2 endpoint to production. When this will happen we'll add it to the console defaults along with Let's Encrypt.

That's an achievement for both of us. Not being to the top contributor here means that the forum is actually driven by its users. Thank you for having been so long here despite the "silent" periods the forum went through. _________________ Follow @abyssws on Twitter
