hi,

I am using abyss 1.2.2.2 and the no-ip service. When anyone tries to acces my site through the address http://pav.no-ip.com page cannont be displayed is shown, this is when my firewall is running. But when i disable the firewall my site can be accessed.

I can access the site through 127.0.0.1, and i do not have a router. I have set the access for abyss in norton pf to the internet. My xp firewall does not make a difference as the site can be accessed when it is enabled.

At first the site did work even when the firewall was enabled, but it just suddenly stopped working!

Thanks for any help in advance

Your ISP could have just started to block port 80 or you must have done
something wrong when allowing requests to Abyss on Norton Personal Fire
wall because thats all I can think of unless you have the XP Firewall on.

The only obvious thing I can think of is that you configured Norton Personal Firewall wrong. Review your settings over and over again, make sure Abyss is set up to listen to incoming connections on all ports, and turn the XP firewall off.
