Which is faster for downloading? HTTP or FTP. |

both should be the same speed, which will be limited by the servers and clients connection speed, or any bottlenecks between. _________________ My site and forums |

Many people that work in corporations or have restricted (or controlled) Internet access are behind proxies. And proxies handle HTTP better than FTP. So we're recommend using HTTP for file downloads (FTP would be better if users have to upload and manipulate files on the remote server.) _________________ Support Team
