We're going to continue the conversation here on the forum, so it can help other users who come to see it.

First, Abyss does not have an integrated IP Banning feature. You can use a javascript to ban an IP (try http://javascript.internet.com/user-details/ip-filter-2.html), however it uses SSI (and yes you do have it, you just haven't used it). Rename your index page to .shtml, and make sure that SSI is enabled in Abyss (check the console). However, this will only block access from each page with the javascrript on it--not very secure.

If you can wait a little while (couple of days), Abyss 2.0 Beta 1 will include a working IP Banning feature, so you can use that.

Inanimate, jsp is not javascript and as far as I know jsp is unsupported. Nice little bit of javascript though.

You also could use this tutorial to help you ban IPs from accessing your PC totally while until the IP Banning feature in Abyss 2.0 beta is properly tested.

Can I ask why you want to ban an ISPs mail server from trying to access your webserver ?! Or even, how you think a mail server is trying to connect to a web server...

No, JSP isn't javascript, and no, Abyss doesn't support JSP... but what does that have to do with anything?
