|
|
I am wondering if there is anyway I can host my domain I already bought on my abysess web-server. I have seen some, but it cost money. Does anyone know of anyone that I could host my domain on my server free?
Thanks in advanced, I have set this so it sends me an email when someone replys so I will be back.
Thanks! |

www.zoneedit.com
You can set your domain name to point to your cable/DSL IP address. You will also need a client to keep it up to date if it is not a static IP. It's all explained in detail on the site :) |

Make sure you foward the port range to your local IP address
Like I foward port range 24999-2026 to my local IP- 192.168.1.102. Many people have problems because they don't do this.
Also, next to zoneedit, www.dyndns.org is a good place also. _________________ Fedora Core is the best OS that exsist today.

DynDNS doesn't allow you to use your own domain name. Try reading before digging up topics that are finished. |
