I can't help you right now because im in Pittsburgh , PA and
its kind of hard to help people with MySQL when im not at my
desktop but hey , do this and it should be working fine !
01. Uninstall MySQL
02. Reboot Your PC
03. Delete MySQL Folder
04. Delete my.ini located in your
windows dir C:\Windows
05. Delete phpMyAdmin folder
06. Reinstall all of the above using

I ran into the same problemwhen setting up my server. Here is what took me hours to figure out.
Delete the my.ini file and start mysql. It will ask you to create a new database and it starts up green!!
Only problem with this is you loose all your old data. |
