Im running Windows XP, and i read many past posts...
But my question is if there is no need to CHMOD in windows, Why doesnt my PHP Poll not work?
But when i uploaded it to my hostultra.com free website, i CHMOD'd it , and it worked...
So whats the deal??

Not chmoding on windows does not have any effect on your script. The only thing that could affect your script is if the script is read only or anything it modifies is read only. Right click on the script or anything it modifies- click properties, make sure read only is unchecked. |

That usually works, but for some reason, it occationaly doesn't. If you run XP Professional, you can right click, and look for the "Security" tab. From there, you can change all your permissions. _________________ Bienvenidos! |
