Since I'm REALLY new (about three days now) to this forum and the Abyss Web Server, I've been going through it and seems interesting when you read all of the stuff it has written in the Help, etc.. I try to edit the index.htm or .html and when I click on the pencil image it just brings me to the point where it is only to change it's filename. I want to know how can you edit it in general (HTML coding, etc..)?
Expect other posts from me in the not so distant future. :) |

Please try to respond with answers that make some sense and have you ever heard of spell check.
The first page you will get when you open your web page will be the index.htm or index.html file in the htdocs folder you installed abyss in. |

Thanks a lot for the speedy responses. All of your responses were somewhat equally helpful. Simple and easy.
Thanks again. You'll hear from the newbie soon, again. :) |

If you don't already know some decent HTML, I would highly suggest you learn it before making web pages. Editors can do most of the work for you, however knowing HTML can help you in times where an editor can't.
