Code: | So, remind me again why people would rather use a script then an FTP? |
Because a script doesn't require an FTP server ! |

No one is saying anyone should change. However, notice how many threads there are about people going through havoc when setting up Abyss; in fact, that's what the topic of the entire board is.
If a server can give some people this much trouble to set up, then I think setting up another server (an FTP) would be out of the question; hence, the easy-to-use upload script. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

Scripts like these are mostly used for people to upload images and small stuff to share publicly with others. At least that's what I use it for. _________________ "Technological progress is like an axe in the hands of a pathological criminal."

True. I actually had to use an upload script because someone was not able to connect to my FTP. I'de call it either a good alternative, or a perfect solution for someone who can't set up their FTP server. _________________ Bienvenidos! |
