I want to try out some new browsers. Right now I use IE and Opera but are better alternatives than those. I would like to hear your thoughts on other browsers for both Linux and Windows.
PS: Yes I have already tried out Netscape and I f****** hate it! |

One word: Mozilla.
http://www.mozilla.com
(Firefox is crap; it may be better when they reach v1.0, but until then, stick with the original). _________________ Bienvenidos! |

You know, you can put proxies in any browser; even Lynx. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

I like Mozilla because it is more compatible than Firefox with other applications, et cetera. And it also has an awesome feature that warns you when you try to close the entire window while having multiple tabs open (which I always do).
Lynx is an old-school text-based browser that was widely popular before GUIs. Some people still use it (like me); but purely out of entertainment. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

I had some spare time today so I went and downloaded Firefox, Mozilla, Opera and still I gave Netscape one more try. I noticed one browser that came out flaming on top, Mozilla(not firefox). It offers some awsome features and I love how you can skin it...after being traped in the Microsoft branded world of IE. Firefox was....umm....ok. It was like a light version of Mozilla. They are basicaly the same only Firefox doesnt have a lot of options that I like. I am not a big IrC fan, in fact I had never used it before Mozilla's built in IrC Chat.(I think) Opera was ABSOLUTE CRAP. NO it is not the fastest browser on earth...It is A BIT faster when you switch to the text only mode but that does not work for me. I mostly work with websites with a lot of graphics and not a lot of text(lol im like a little kid, i like to look at the pictures). In todays world designers do not make many sites that would look good text only... It is all screwed up...
Netscape Ihave never liked. I do not know wat it is about it but it is too IMac for me. Pieces of crap. |

I got that. I noticed the icon was Firefox, but the website is the "Get a life" domain; which is for sale. I guess I get the overall message, but it is still a little wierd... _________________ Bienvenidos! |
