Heres the datails on my server box I proudly say I build myself:
AMD xp2700+ 2.17 GhZ
ASUS A7V8X-X with built in audio, lan and usb 2
Micron Original 512MB PC2100 CAS2.5 DDR
Maxtor 80GB 7200RPM ATA133 8MB cache
Gainward Pro 660 GeForce FX 5200 128MB DDR w/TV-out DVI
RaidMax Scorpio 868 (Black) w/ 420W Power Supply http://www.memoryexpress.com/products/Cases/RaidMax_Scorpio868(Black)w420WPowerSupply.html
Triple boot with WinXP Pro, Linux Fedora and OpenBSD.
Apache, MYSQL, PHP, SNORT, PF and ACID.
I run the server on Open BSD most of the time but I have all of the site files on a 120 GB external hard drive so whatever OS i switch to i have Apache, mysql, php, snort and some sort of firewall running and serving the exact same files. Your are rite, this is a abyss forum, I use that to run my personal site and to download stuff onto my cellphone. They are pretty equal overall but abyss lacks some power and sturdyness that i need for my bussiness site. Abyss does have an easier GUI type thing but thats not the point, you can do the same job just as easy in command line with apache.
I have also installed KDE on Fedora and I run a kool little program called DesktopX and I use a theme called Addiction at 1280x1024 pixels.
Dont wana forget the Pheripherals:
HP Photosmart 1115 printer
Viewsonic Perfectflat A70f 17in.
and i just used some old but REALLY good 5 button ball mouse and internet keyboard with detachable # pad and media controls.
I prefer cord ball mice over all others, laser mice tend to spaz a lot and well if you get a wireless mouse frankly you are just dumb, when are you ever going to need to click from 15 feet away?? and still they add to the spazing of the mice and piss me off when they start spazzing in the middle of my photoshop work.
Feel free to leave ur comments on my box . |

To say a stock XP3000+ runs at 2.16Ghz, that's one hell of an overclock...
Explain more about your cooling ? |

Indeed, it was custom built and overclocked way beyond more then it was suppose to be, my cooling keeps it from bursting into flames, of course.
It has a 2 fan system thats automatically linked to each other to start at the same time and turn off, or they can be switched so they both function at a certain time, so the system is always cooled.
Basically, its 2 fans in the back, 1 in the front, and one on the side. Its a pretty cool sight. ^^;
The extra 2 fans pull the air in, and the two large fans push the hot air out, plus, its ultra quiet. It cost about 500 dollars alone to put them both in ^^;;...
Now of course this seems like i'm lying, but of course i'm not, why would i lie? _________________ Thank you all. Aprelium most importantly.
