When you mean "sendmail," are you referring to the Linux "/usr/bin/sendmail?" If you are, Windows does not have one. However there are alternatives, like this one. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

Would you be so kind as to show me the script? When I search for "mstp," all I get are links to "Medical Scientist Training Programs." _________________ Bienvenidos! |

smtp =
SMTP) A protocol defined in STD 10, RFC
821, used to transfer electronic mail between computers,
usually over Ethernet. It is a server to server protocol,
so other protocols are used to access the messages. The SMTP
dialog usually happens in the background under the control of
the message transfer agent, e.g. sendmail but it is
possible to interact with an SMTP server using telnet to
connect to the normal SMTP port, 25 |

Oh, you said "mstp" in your post, so I thought you were referring to something else I had not heard of.
Yes, if you want to use SMTP, you are going to have to download a mail server. I like Mercury/32 (http://www.pmail.com/). _________________ Bienvenidos! |

alenxVR6,
There are sendmail-like on Windows that doesn't require that you install a mail server on your computer. Search for Blat on this forum for more information. _________________ Support Team
