I just bought a d-link ethernet router so as to share my internet connection with my other system. Unfortunately, even though it looks like the IP address has stayed the same, when I am hooked up to the router, I can't access my IP.... any tips?

I also just bought a D-Link router. After getting up to Tier 2 tech support, I finally found out that one computer on a router cannot access a webserver on another computer on the same network. The only way to access it is by typing in the internal IP (192.168.0.x) and not your real IP (65.203.38.27 or whatever).
