Hi, I have windows server 2003 running Abyss Web Server right now. The problem is that my Antivirus and Firewall wont work with this Windows Server 2003, I was wondering if the hacker or worms can get access into my server and release virus into my server or not. If they can, can you tell me what is the percentage of releasing virus into my server.
Thank you. :?: |

Well "releasing a virus" has to do with uploading. Abyss Web Server is not a tool crackers (not hackers) can use to upload viruses. If you run an FTP server, however, there may be a problem. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

You will need to have an antiVirus that will support 2003 server.
You can try this one from symantec -

Hacking Abyss is possible but not much hacker too experience to accomplish this task. Most likely you will open door or release worm or virus out from internal or inside.
With a gateway / router with NAT support, generally be ok. If you have just a direct connection and nothing in between the outside and your LAN, you may most likely get hit by rogue script. _________________ CapFusion,... |
