I want to try it, but I don't really like WinAmp, and it seems that the SHOUTcast server works best with an older version of WinAmp. _________________ DLashley |

Well I'll bet that you download music (for free). In that case, it would be illegal to serve your music to the public.
It's too bad that SHOUTCast is owned by Null-Soft, therefore it integrates with WinAmp. The people who don't like WinAmp (like me) are forced to use it. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

I don't like WinAmp either. I think iTunes rocks! Thank God they have it for the PC now.
As for the other matter, you shouldn't make assumptions about people. Don't you remember what Felix Unger used to say about people who ASSUME? _________________ DLashley |

i wish winamp had better docs for using shoutcast ....oh well back to figuring it out the hard way.
i hear that firewalls play havoc with it . amongst most things.
configuring is a bitch.
i thought some things where ment to be easy to use. _________________ living in an armish paradise.....no gates here!

Sorry, but when it comes to computers, nothing has ever and will never be easy to use/configure. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

I think I'll skip the Shoutcast thingy, and use this cool program I found called JAMROOM. _________________ DLashley |
