Hi, Does Abyss support Windows Authentication. I see a mention from support back in 2005 that Windows Authentication would be coming to Abyss.
I have created a virtualised Windows 2008 Server (IIS 7.5) and set a virtual directory (application) to utilise Windows Auth. I created a .net web app, included a bit of code to post the Windows user name of the person. Upon opening the page I am presented with the usual windows username and password prior to the page loading.
I then copy the same web app code to another folder and "point" to it with Abyss. The page doesn't request the windows login and of course continues to load but the labels on the page don't display the user name. |
