				1. I do not have a router.

2. Windows XP firewall is turned off.

3. I've tested other ports.

4. I can connect to http://myip from my computer.

5. I cannot connect to http://myip from outside computers.

6. I can connect to http://myip:port from outside computers.

It does not seem to make sense why my webserver isn't working correctly. Please inform me on what I need to do to get the server accessable from outside computers. I would also like to know if its possible to get a file manager in the console. |

Well, there is something with XP I could just never find out what... Other than the firewall at least.

For the file manager, use a php script. Make sure php is installed in and working though. http://hotscrpits.com has a lot if you havn't already been there. The console can't (well... maybe not can't) have a file manager. _________________ New image comming soon...

				| Thank you for replying. I figured out what was wrong. I needed to change the default port 80 to 81. I guess my ISP did not allow port 80. Now all I need to do to connect to my server is type in the url http://myip:81 |

You could use no-ip.com services, they can redirect ports, from 80 to 81, you get a free domain also, so instead of http://123.100.23.1:81 , you just type subbeh.no-ip.org(for example).

Give it a shot, works great :) |
