yeah, um, im trying to view the console, but it wont let me. i eman, i get error 404 when i try. yes, the port is at default, yes, i tried autodetecting the port and restarting, and yes, i think its a problem with my other installed software. no, i dont have a router, no, i dont have a firewall, and no, its not impossible to solve. its out of my grasp
any help on this? |

This can happen when your browser is configured to use a proxy. In this case, disable the proxy for the local address 127.0.0.1. You can also download anothe rbrowser (such as Opera from http://www.opera.com) and try accessing the console with it. _________________ Support Team

Are you sure that you have no proxy/firewall/ad-blocker configured on your computer?
A user reported to our tech support a similar issue and said that he was able to fix the problem as follows:

unfortunately, that did not do the trick...im really gettin ticked off, but im patient....n e way, i suppose I COULD re-install the server, but then i have to reconfigure everything... |

The 404 error you get, does it definitely show the Abyss webserver tagline at the bottom ?
Also, are you sure you haven't moved/deleted the CHL files used for the console ?
Do you have a proxy enabled in IE ? |

there is no 404 error, i thought it was, but its not. its a 500 internal server error or something...
i havent touched nothin...where SHOULD these be located?
