Hello everybody!
This is my first time posting here. So far, you people all look nice, so hopefully no flaming will follow!
I have an issue I need for a business I am starting (www.myownebiz.net).
I need a script that will run on Win98, using Abyss (of course.).
Here is what i need it to do. I use PayPal subscriptions to allow users to subscribe to a secure area of that site.
Now, when you are setting up the subscription for with paypal, it offers you the option of having paypal generate a random user name and password.
I need a script (probably using IPN) that will be able to retrieve those user names and passwords from paypal, once a transaction is complete. And proceed to add them to my user list within Abyss. Allowing them to access the secure directory instantly.
If I know what I am talking about, the script will need to add the given user/pass to the list, and then change the security attributes to allow the secure directory to accept those user/pass as acceptable logins.
