I'm having problems trying to install phpBB so maybe I'll just go around the problem, and set up a forum in html. Are there any forums out there written in just html? Whats the best one? I tried doing a search over google, but with forum as a keyword, I got tons of useless stuff... Any suggestions? |

Hi ethereal--
There is a very simple bulletin board system from Matt Wrights Script Archive: http://www.scriptarchive.com/wwwboard.html
It uses a perl script, but writes to html. It is not as fancy as many forum scripts nowdays, but one thing about it....it's pages do get indexed by search engines.
Another forum that writes to html is Discus at:
http://www.discusware.com/index.php
It has more features, etc. It also is perl and writes to html
Regards,
