If you could actually read (Or type for that matter) you would already know, that to set up PHPbb (Or PHPbb2) you need Mysql, and phpMyAdmin. |
Um, just why do you need phpMyAdmin exactly?
Wouldn't MySQL Control Center do? Or if it must be
remote, perhaps DbVisualizer would be useful, or
maybe just write a php script to create the database
you need? There are lots more ways to get data into
MySQL, that's the beauty of it! ...Heck why not create
an IRC bot to do it? ;) Then maybe write a php forum
yourself just for the sheer joy of it!
Bottom line, to be actually helpful here,
I recommend "MySQL Control Center" at the downloads
at www.mysql.com - to go with the server download there.
All the documentation is there too, do a bit of reading there
before you actually install. Setting up phpMyAdmin might
actually be a good idea as well, it is handy but not necessary
to create databases and tables etc.
P.S. phpMyAdmin can not handle blob data - last I used it. |
