Meaning can i upload a file onto this webserver thingy and let other people download from it? Without using my bandwidth, using the webservers bandwidth after i upload a file somehow????If yes can someone give me instructions? thanks^^ |

You can install a script to help you upload/download files from your web server. But since the server is hosted on your computer and uses your internet connection, anyone who connects to it will automatically use your bandwidth. _________________ Support Team

sounds more like your looking for a FTP server. it would be simpler to install than abyss + a custom script (hat wold be the script, abyssis pie to install :D) |

before you ask :p its very good, although i haven used it in ages. you wouldn't really need abyss after this unless you want a front end to the ftp server |

You could also use some free hosting services in order to store your page and Make links related to some URL in your personal server using abyss
Like this :
your " front" web site at www.yourname.someISP.com
And related adresses to your file linked into your " front" main pages pointing directly files on your abyss server.
It should be a nice solution , reducing your bandwidth to the file transfer and let all the " server side web pages" on other servers... |

thats the try out version so it does give you certain period of time if you want to continue it you will have to pay to buy it i hope that will work for you |
