				When you delete the username and password from the conf file and go back in, does it prompt you to set up a new username and password ? If it doesn't you've deleted the wrong thing :D

Look for this section :

<snip>

MIMEType video/x-msvideo avi

Version 1.2.1.0

login usernameyouchose

password md5hashofyourpassword

<snip>

Replace the login and password lines with

login admin

password dc15f3db445eb6ac212f6f95d84878e5

To give you a login of admin with password changeme

Don't forget it's case sensitive. |

				Thanks Anonymoose.

Yes, When I deleted username and password from conf file, it did bring me back to the login page, and I would enter a username and password, but same outcome.

I also tried using the username and paaword you suggested, I entered it directly into the conf file, same thing??

I am running Windows ME, IE 6.0

Could my browser setting be a problem? Cookies or something?

Any other ideas? |

				maustin,

Is your browser configured to use a firewall or do you have a download accelerator (or something similar)? If this is the case, disable the use of that utility for the local address 127.0.0.1 .

We recommend also that you download Opera (http://www.opera.com) and try accessing the console from it. Do you have the same problem? _________________ Support Team

It worked when I downloaded and installed Opera.....But, I did notice that when I did get it working, a small window poped up asking for the username and password, Internet Explorer tried to open it in the same browser...Obliviously I have some setting wrong in IE 6...

THANK YOU again so much for the help |
