Im using XP Pro on and it connected to a network. I install Abyss Web to view my files on my system only not online but when i go and tr to set up my console for the first time it tells me that "Page can not be display" i go to httP://localhost and some windows SII thing comes up. does anyone knows how to set this up so that Abyss Web is the server or something. Im really confuse. I had no problem on doing this on Win ME. |

Are you sure Abyss is running and doesn't have problems (listening problems?).
We guess that what you call Windows SII is IIS. It seems that IIS is running on your computer and uses port 80. You can either configure Abyss to use another port or remove IIS from WinXP (see http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B321141).
If you still cannot access the console, remove any proxy settings in your browser fro 127.0.0.1. _________________ Support Team

Yes its running with no error messeges of any kind. but i will try what you suggested. How do i remove any proxy settings from 127.0.01. Do i do that thru Internet Options?

Yes, select menu Tools in Internet Explorer, then Internet Options, go to the Connections page, press LAN settings and check the "Bypass proxy for local addresses". _________________ Support Team
