howdy yall.... i am attempting to run a virtual-host script. i have installed php. i have installed the script. when i hit the script in my browser instaed of it redirecting to the appropriate directory the browser displays the scripts code.

url is: http://www.directcashnow.com

i have installed, uninstalled and reinstalled php several times.

php is in C:\PHP\php.exe cgi stuff points to C:\PHP\php.exe

i've read as many messages in this forum as i care to and followed all the advice. i've watched the movies, read the manuals. and am still at a loss.

i know it's not just the script cause i tried another one. it's at http://www.directcashnow.com/index2.php

i dunno what went wrong but i think it had something to do with the upgrade function of the abyss 1.2 installer.

i heard something about s****r so i dled it. completely uninstalled abyss. installed S****R. i found it to be a terrible pain in the arse so i shut it down and reinstalled abyss 1.2. when i got done setting everything back up my php scripts were magically werking..... go figure. been ripping my hair out for a week on this one. the tech guys might want to give the upgrade feature of abyss 1.2 win installer a once over and see what went wrong.

thx,

This web server is almost the best. it would be the best if it supported .htaccess

brokndodge,

It seems that you removed the / from the CGI Paths without manually updating your other CGI Parameters as descibed in http://www.aprelium.com/news/12/cgipaths.html .
