Is there any way to password protect directories? I have used JanaServer and it was good but Abyss fits my needs better. Now if I can just password protect directories it will be the perfect server.

If there is not a way then will version 1.1 have the ability to password protect directories?

Thanks |

Version 1.1 will include a full password protection mechanism with users and groups. So please visit us often to download it when it will be available (in less than a month starting from now).

That's great can't wait to get version 1.1.

Is it possible As with Apache to say AllowLocalAccess so that that you can deny everyone to a directory but scripts (php) can still access these files? |

If you want to do that, the better is to put that directory out of the web space. _________________ Support Team

You know if you realy need access use a php script to give a security header at the top a virtual directory listing. |
