i was wondering if someone could help me, i have been trying to set up a php forum, i finally uploaded all the files, but im in the install page and i dont no what do to, where do i register to install my forum, here is the error i get when i try to continue:
phpBB : Critical Error
Could not connect to the database
so if someone could please help me i would really appreciate it

have u edited the config file and created a MySQL database?, i've forgotten what the config file name is because i ahvnt used that forum softwar in ages but itsays everything in readme/readme.txt or install/install.txt

You've selected MySQL 4 and Install i assume...
Check your username/password are correct and that you are using the correct port!
if your webserver is set at http://www.mysite.com:90 then the server port should be changed to 90... I think :lol:
Also im going to do ahead and assume you have CREATED the database using a program such as mysql control center -
