yep it does just put a file called favicon.icon or w/e in the root and it will work

You're absolutely right. The prices they charge are B.S. for something anybody
can do for FREE in their favorite icon/image editor in 10 minutes. ( OK, maybe 20 minutes.)
It depends on how "artistic" a person is. :wink: |

The console of Abyss uses the favicon also. It is in chl/favicon.ico.
All you have to do is to create a 16x16 image and convert it to the .ico format (using at most 16/256 colors). This conversion can be done using IrfanView (a free viewer/converter).
