Does anyone know how to use URL cloaking for any web address? When I redirect http://[myIP]:81 to http://vnar.cjb.net I don't want my IP to show. I use a script to prevent popups, but that ends up showing my IP. _________________ Vijay Narayanan

1. If you log in to CJB website, go to "modify account" page and you will see an option to "cloak" website.
(You may have to wait awhile for changes to activate.)
2. I don't think advanced "url-cloaking" can be done with HTML. Basically, all it's doing is putting a site inside of a
framed page. Of course, that can be done with HTML. You just won't be able to see the changes in the address bar
or status bar, if you know what I mean.
I don't see any point to it unless you have another site with a different domain name. |
