| I was wonderng why when i open my server my comp starts to lag a few minute later, but when i close it things tun back to normal...is there inyway to stop this? |

What do you mean exactly ? Does the server window never hide ? Does it display an error ?

| I may have a simlar problem, but it was only after I had vurtual directory list a LOT of files and folders, this internal operation even made the globe spin |

No just plain lag, so much that my monitor shut off after 20 min. (and i set it to 3 min.), but when i move my mouse it takes another 10 min. to turn on the monitor...(note, i am talkng about the power setting) |

Abyss Web Server has nothing to do with your power saving settings. It is just a web server. What you describe is related to your Windows screen saver and power saving parameters. So please review them carefully and check if you have a bad driver or a utility that makes your computer behave so.
