* Uncompress/Untar the package
tar xfzm abwsx1.tgz : I did this :)

* Go to the directory abyssws
cd abyssws : what do you mean by this? Im not sure how to do this I am a linux noob
* Run abyssws and read the few messages it displays.
./abyssws : What do you mean by this
=====================================================================
* Open your web browser
* Browse http://127.0.0.1:9999/ (the console local URL)
* Enter a login/password for the console access.
* The browser asks you to enter your new login/password to access to the console.
* Press the Restart button on the displayed web page.
* To view the default web page, go to location http://127.0.0.1:8000 (the web server local URL). |

I guess my problem is is I dont understand what you mean by
cd abyss
do you mean I have to burn abyss onto a cd and pop it in my cd rom? |

When you run Linux, search for the command line (also called Terminal or Shell). This is like the DOS box in Windows. You enter commands there and they are executed.
is just a command you'll have to type. It doesn't mean "run on a CD". If you are new to Linux, the best to do is to read some tutorials to understand how it works and what is the Shell is, since it is the standard way to run and use Linux. _________________ Support Team
