i use XP professional. Ever since upgrading from windows 2000, whenever i open windows media player, my computer freezes. I click the shortcut button to open the player and after a few seconds it freezes. I can't move the mouse or open the task manager. I have to reboot by pressing the button on my tower. I really need help with this, I'm not sure how to fix this problem. Thanks for any replies.

We recommend updating your Windows using Windows Update. By chance, you can have an update for MediaPlayer that can fix your problem.
