First thing, for anyone to help you with this problem they need to know if your computer is
connected via your Internet Service Providers provided equipment.
Second, is this server being used for world(internet) service or intracnet(small network not connected to the net) service?
Third, is their any networking utilities in between your modem/connection. Such as a router, or another computer?
A simple solution to the router problem is to read the documents that came with it.
To provide some help for you to, some
Internet Service Providers block the main ports that are used to serve HTTP, FTP,
TELNET, and other types of servers to increase security.
You might also want to read the terms of agreement that you signed when you where hooked-up. Some ISP's have the right to terminate your internet connection if they find evidence of any server software being used. |

EvaStar is correct. Please provide what your setup [be specific as possible] before we can help you. Otherwise we all well be guessing and probably will increase your fustration as the answer to your problem will be incorrect. _________________ CapFusion,... |

Thank you for the support. I have noticed how minimal information people have been giving when they need help. |
