i want my users to access my site by using the domain name instead of using my ip
is it posible to do so???
if you would say to forward the domain name or mask it
so i've already did it
but i dont really like it
i want the following thing:
www.mydomain.com/somefiles.php
basically i dont want my users to see the ip address |

Try www.dyndns.org. You can get domain names there for free.
Example- yoursite.homelinux.net.
There are many domains you can choose from. They also have some DNS clients. And, if you give up on DNS, you can just use their web hop feature, that is basically redirection. _________________ Fedora Core is the best OS that exsist today.

They are giving away subdomains not domain names. Looks like we have a new masa in the making :( |

There no free TLD or domain name. But there is free subdomain like No-IP or DYDNS. To get your own Domain Name, you will need to register [Lease] by purchasing from a Domain Registrar.
To hide your IP, you will ned to get a script or use your domain name and overlap [redirect] from your domain. _________________ CapFusion,... |
