I can't get my downloads to resume using any manager, they all say "server does not support resuming" or something to that extent.
How do you get resuming to work?

Thanks

Abyss Web Server support resuming automatically. It has been tested with popular download manager such as Get Right and no problem was detected.
What is the download manager you're using? If you have a proxy between Abyss and you, it might be the cause of the problem.

I do. What do I have to do to get it working then? I have ports 80 and ftp ports open to the server. What else should be open to allow resuming?

I'm also having problem with resume.

I'm using GetRight 4.5e.

The data does not go through any proxy servers.

This is the transfer detail log:

!!!! ----Header Sent----
>>>> GET /file.mpg HTTP/1.1

Range: bytes=0-
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows 98)

Connection: Close
Server: Abyss/1.1.5 (Win32) AbyssLib/1.0.6

When I cancel and try to resume:

!!!! ----Header Sent----
>>>> GET /file.mpg HTTP/1.1
Host: XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
Range: bytes=2547712-
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows 98)

Authorization: Basic YW5uOmRvd25sb2Fk

!!!! ----Header Recv----
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Content-Length: 100000000

Connection: Close
Date: Mon, 09 Jun 2003 09:17:54 GMT
Server: Abyss/1.1.5 (Win32) AbyssLib/1.0.6

GetRight reports that "This server does not support resuming."

It used to work though. I am not sure when it stopped working, but as far as I know, the only thing I changed was "Maximum Simultaneous Requests" = 500
