|
|
I used to have Windows 2000 on my webserver, but since it's not that fast a machine i recently switched to WinNT Server 4.
Anyway, when the machine had Win2000 asp worked just fine, but when i tried to install in on Windows NT 4 it wouldn't work.
At first the asp-scripts just loaded forever and never came up.
But now, for some reason i gett a 500-error when i try to load them.
I have installed the VB runtimes and i have changed the ActiveHTML configuration so that asp works outside the ahtml-folder.
Sorry to repeat a questuin you've hade before, but i'm getting a little annoyed here. |

I'd suggest following the instructions on the Aprelium Abyss web site about adding ASP support.
Abyss and AHTML should be independent from the OS (apart from what platforms it runs on)
You shouldn't have to monkey with the AHTML configuration...
AHTML works as a CGI engine.
If you have everything configured right (from the instruction page) and your web pages are located in the HTDOC folder...you should be ready to rock. _________________ ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

This is not Abyss fault. ActiveHTML uses many components in Windows 2000 or later that NT hasen't by default. So you should install the latest servivce pack of NT (Called SP6) and install Internet Explorer 6 to guarantee that internal components of NT are up-to-date to run ActiveHTML. _________________ Support Team
