Tryin to run Email off of the phpbb Forum... But when a client enters in his or her info and go to signup ... This error pops up from the email

Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: 500 5.5.1 Command unrecognized: "AUTH LOGIN"

Im going through Smtp-server.hvc.rr.com
Any Help On That.?

The SMTP mail server you're using is not understanding the commands PhpBB is sending to it. Try removing the SMTP login and password from the PhpBB configuration (if any) and retry.
