I would like my users to be able to download *.exe files and my site is php based but the problem is that whenever a user tries to access a *.exe file it opens the program for me and they get a 500 error. help plz :?

I recommend you make a new folder called php-bin in your htdocs for all your PHP programs and then open your Abyss console and put for cgi paths

/php-bin

where php-bin is your new script directory and also remove the
/ in the cgi paths table and that should fix your problem

I had this problem when i upgraded to ver. 1.1.6 but aprelium is working on a patch so you can just put the file name as a cgi path , that way you can have downloads in your main htdocs directory

When the patch comes out , you can put /your_file.php
for a cgi path 8)
