I am launching my Web site in one week, and have decided that I really need a script that will deduct inventory after a customer orders, as I have many one-of-a-kind items. I have PHP and mySQL installed, and am running Windows XP. So, I won't be able to use a UNIX script. Does anyone know of a good free script that will work with Mal's eCommerce shopping cart easily? I don't need anything fancy. I am a novice at scripting and database building, so I would need very good documentation.
I tried the one at http://www.nortac.com/mals/phpmysql.htm, but I couldn't get it to work...got stumped at the database part.
By the way, I've already looked at all the previous posts pertaining to inventory and catalogs, and was unable to find anything.
