hi
first, abyss web server is nice software, thanks.
now my question: has anyone tried to set up a wap-server for mobile phones with abyss?
as far as i know, its only more mime-types like .wml which have to be set, and then wap should work with a server like abyss. however, i tried this and can not connect to my ip from my mobile phone. wap-error 1500: cant connect to site. any ideas? |

Check that your site is accessible from the outside world (read the 2nd question the FAQ at http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/faq.html ) _________________ Support Team

The answer to the 2nd question in the FAQ is general and instructs people to look to their router's manual (most users think that a router is plug and play device that does not need configuration).
Besides, we cannot provide support for all router brands (there are many differences and many things to know). That's not our job and it is beyond the scope of web server support. _________________ Support Team

Ahhh..... Now i understand your message. When I check that FAQ, got no clue why you point to that location since this was about setting up "WAP". _________________ CapFusion,... |
