How do I undo the effects of adnregister.exe (64bit-version)?

Background: I tried asp.net, I got an error message instructing me to run: abyss/adn/adnregister.bat to enable GAC, what I did, respectively I run adnregister.exe, which did run fine.
Then I found that asp.net was not what I needed. Is it advisable to unregister, to reinstall abyss or what ever? What is adnregister.exe/adnregister.bat doing, and what stands ADN for?

Abyss X1 V2.7, Windows 7, runs like a marvel, I really enjoy it.

In between I did a system restore (not backup/restore, but checkpoint/restore, I don't know exact english .)

You can undo its effects by executing in a Windows command line:

adnregister.exe -u


adnregister registers the FCGIDotNet-X-Y.exe executables in the GAC (Global Assembly Cache). This is a kind of cache for special assemblies and this is required for ASP.NET support to work fine in Abyss Web Server.

But there is no side-effect of that registration except that it will take 100 KB of your hard disk space. If you forget about it, it won't harm or affect any software or component.

Uninstalling Abyss Web Server will remove these executables from the GAC.
