Excuse a novis, I understand rhis is not the forum for pure webbdesign-questions but I know its a lot of knowledge here, pls ... :oops:

On my very well working, very clean site in my Abyss, I want to link to a certain doc in my internal network, BUT WITH A PASSWORD SET BY ME !

Is it possible ? (i fully understand its not a question for Abyss... but ...)
Pls , if anyone knows how to do, inform in novis.terms

yes

1. set the 'alias' to that directory
2. protect that directory with 'access control'
3. link to the file in that directory from your html

read the server docs on how exactly this is done (but it should be straigh-forward).
