I'm using CGI4VB to access STDIN and STDOUT from Visual Basic and I keep getting a 405 Error - Method not allowed when I test the resulting exe using Abyss.

The exe works with other freeware http server software like Savant, but they just aren't as good as Abyss and I'd like to keep using it. Does this not work because Abyss treats a VB compiled program as a GUI CGI even when the only input and output are using STDIN and STDOUT? If that's the case, will there be a release of Abyss that will work with programs using CGI4VB. (Another thread indicated that aprelium was testing one.)

Please use the new beta version of Abyss (read http://www.aprelium.com/news/abws116b1.html ) if you have such CGI executables. Old versions of Abyss are only able to run non-GUI CGIs.
Don't forget also to add / in the CGI Path table in order to run exe files from every directory in your web site.
