How do i get my domain name to register with the server this is probably a stupid question that can be answered by anyone but i can't for the life of me figure it out. |

This is not related to the web server. Domain name registration should be done with a domain name registrar (typically a company or an organization). Some charge for money, some not. i realize that i already have a domain name. what i want is to be able to upload the pages to that name through my web server.. can it be done? |

Configure you domain name to point to your computer's IP (the computer on which Abyss is running). That's it. The web site will be served from your computer. _________________ Support Team

The only problem that I'm having is that the URL is not following through...it's being dropped, and replaced with my IP address, is there any way to change this behavior? |

When it replace your URL with your ISP IP, this generally normally occur if the URL is not correct and your ISP redirect back to their site. There are many cause but the most common is case sensitive. _________________ CapFusion,... |
